LUBBOCK, Texas — The Arizona Wildcats (XXX) dropped their series finale, 9-3, to the Texas Tech Red Raiders (XXX) on Sunday afternoon at Rip Griffin Park.

Gunner Geile swatted an RBi double, but it was not enough as Arizona dropped their first Big 12 Conference series in a month.

Smith Bailey worked four innings and struck out six batters but ultimately took the loss to move to 1-2 on the year.

Julian Tonghini notched a scoreless outing from the bullpen. He worked 1.2 frames and allowed just one hit while striking out a pair.
