Arizona 2024 (Sophomore)
Split time at catcher in his first season with the Wildcats, earning time in 39 games with 37 starts...Pac-12 Conference regular season and tournament team champion...Hit .265 with 21 runs scored, five doubles, one home run, and 17 RBI...Drew more walks (26) than strikeouts (19) and posted a .384 on-base percentage...Tallied 10 multi-hit games and three multi-RBI performances...Hit first career home run on April 26 at Washington (1x5, R, HR, RBI)...Caught teammate Clark Candiotti's complete game on March 29 against UCLA (9.0,4,2,1,1,12)...Threw out 7-of-23 attempted base stealers (30.4%) and helped turn three double plays...Made 22 starts during Pac-12 Conference play and hit .220 with 10 runs scored, one double, one home run, and 10 RBI...Also drew more walks (17) than strikeouts (12) against conference foes and worked a .360 OBP...Across 39 games and 324 total chances posted an impressive .991 fielding percentage; committed just three errors and allowed three passed balls...Fielding percentage improved to .995 during Pac-12 play, committing just one error on 184 chances.
