TUCSON, Ariz.- University of Arizona women's tennis student-athlete Martyna Ostrzygalo earned two of the Southwest Region's top individual honors, while the Wildcats were also recognized for their impact off the court with the ITA Community Service Award.

Ostrzygalo was named the Southwest Region recipient of both the Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award and the ITA Cissie Leary Sportsmanship Award. The honors recognize student-athletes who exemplify leadership, integrity, sportsmanship and service within their teams, campuses and communities.

Throughout the season, Ostrzygalo demonstrated excellence both on and off the court, serving as a leader for the Wildcats while representing Arizona with professionalism and sportsmanship. Her selection for both awards highlights the respect she has earned across the collegiate tennis community.

In addition to Ostrzygalo's individual recognition, Arizona was named the Southwest Region winner of the ITA Community Service Award. The award honors programs that make a meaningful impact through volunteerism, outreach and service initiatives within their local communities. The recognition marks the second consecutive year Arizona has been honored for its community engagement efforts after earning the ITA Women's Tennis Community Service Outreach Award in 2024-25.

The regional honors reflect Arizona's commitment to excellence beyond competition, recognizing both the leadership of its student-athletes and the program's dedication to serving others.

With three Southwest Region honors, Arizona women's tennis continues to demonstrate that success extends far beyond wins and losses, embodying the values of leadership, service and sportsmanship that define the Wildcat program.
