Box Score OMAHA, Neb. — The Arizona Wildcats (44-20) dropped their opening game of the 2025 Men's College World Series on a final score of 7-4 to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (54-11) on Friday afternoon.
Arizona will now await their opponent in Sunday afternoon's elimination game. They will face the winner of Friday night's game between Oregon State and Louisville.
Starting pitcher
Owen Kramkowski delivered five innings of three-run work for the Wildcats, striking out seven along the way. He did not factor into the decision.Â

Maddox Mihalakis, and catcher
Adonys Guzman provided a hefty chunk of the Wildcats offense on Friday afternoon. White blasted his 20th home run of the season, Mihalakis drove in a pair of runs on a double and a bases-loaded hit by pitch, and Guzman tallied a team-best three hits.
The Wildcats and Chanticleers were tied at 4-4 headed into the bottom of the eighth before a three-run rally for Coastal Carolina decided the game.
