TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (10-4) used a 25-hit effort to dismantle the Pepperdine Waves (3-13) on a final score of 21-2 on Saturday night at Hi Corbett Field.
Arizona's offensive effort included hits from 13 different players, six mutli-hit performances, and six multi-RBI outings. Shortstop
Mason White led the way with a five-hit, four-RBI night that pushed his season batting average back above the .300 mark.
The Wildcats scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back, needing no more but plating 18 more regardless over the final seven frames.
Starting pitcher
Owen Kramkowski (2-1) was dominant for the Wildcats and earned his second win of the year. The tall right-hander did not allow an earned run though 5.1 innings of work and held the Waves without a hit through his first four-plus innings of work.
Four Wildcat relievers combined to finish off the game and limited Pepperdine to just one hit while issuing zero walks and striking out eight.
