PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Wildcats beat Grand Canyon, 8-3, in a midweek game to improve to 25-18 on the season.

Blaise Biringer went 3-for-4 with two RBI to lead the Cats.
Olivia DiNardo and
Izzy Pacho also drove in two runs each for Arizona.

GCU took an early 3-0 lead with a three-run home run in the first inning.
Â
After a scoreless second inning for both teams, Arizona scored five runs on four singles in the third to take the lead.
Olivia DiNardo and
Blaise Biringer hit back-to-back RBI singles.
Izzy Pacho had a two-RBI single and
Paige Dimler brought home Arizona's fifth run with an RBI single.

The Cats added one more in the fourth on a pair of errors to make it a 6-3 game. In the top of the seventh, Biringer drove in one more for Arizona with her second RBI single of the game and
Tayler Biehl hit a bases-loaded RBI single to give Arizona an 8-3 lead.

Devyn Netz picked up the win to improve to 12-12 on the season. She pitched her 11th complete game and struck out five batters. Netz retired ten-straight Lopes to hold GCU to only three runs.
