Attended Casteel High School and lettered four years in baseball under head coach Matt Denny…Played in 109 varsity games across four seasons, registering a .330 career batting average with 20 runs scored, 17 doubles, two triples, two home runs, and 64 RBI…As a senior, hit .367 with nine runs, six doubles, one triple, one home run, and 31 RBI…Selected as the 5A Conference Defensive Player of the Year following senior season in which he posted a .983 fielding percentage on 177 total chances…Also picked up First Team All-Conference honors as a senior and Second Team All-Conference honors as a junior…Participated in the 2022 Area Code Underclass Games with the Reds.
