Arizona Baseball to Host Naranjeros de Hermosillo for Inaugural Sonoran Series Game

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Baseball will welcome the Naranjeros de Hermosillo to Hi Corbett Field for the time ever on October 9 at 6 p.m. MST for the inaugural game of the Sonoran Series. This will mark the first time Arizona will face Hermosillo outside of the Mexican Baseball Fiesta and it will be the seventh meeting between the teams in history.
Arizona fans will get their first look at the team at home this fall and there will be an exclusive t-shirt giveaway for fans. The Cats will also welcome back former Arizona and current Naranjeros catcher Cesar Salazar to Hi Corbett Field.
Prior to Arizona's game against Hermosillo on October 9, the Cats will open their fall exhibition schedule at the Mexican Baseball Fiesta on October 1 at 5 p.m. MST against the Naranjeros.
Tickets for the October 9 game are $10 and can be purchased here. Fans can also listen to the game in Spanish on URBANA 92.5 FM.
