2024-2025 Home Track Meet Information
Arizona Track and Field will host six home meets this year -- All Comers, The Arizona Spring Break Fiesta, The Willie Williams Classic, The Jim Click Shoot-Out and Combined Events, The Desert Heat Classic and the Tucson Elite Throws Classic -- each year at Roy P. Drachman Stadium.

Arizona Track and Field is
going DIGITAL at Roy P. Drachman Stadium. All Spectators can
purchase a ticket early through our online system and then will be allowed admission at the gate when we scan your ticket at the entrance. Avoid long lines the day of by purchasing your ticket online in advance.

Arizona All Comers Meet PRE-REGISTRATION:
**NEW** Registration will be on www.directathletics.com
* If you do not have an account you will need to create one.
*You must register as Unattached and pay $25 per athlete online.
* Registration will be open on November 20, 2024, and will close on December 12, 2024, at 11.59pm.
* You must enter a time/mark for each event you will participate in, if you do not have a mark then leave it blank.
*There will be no meet day additions accepted. ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE DONE ONLINE BY THURSDAY Dec. 12th, 2024 at 11:59pm.

The meet is free and open to the public. There will be no spectators allowed within the fenced area of the track and will remain only in the stands.

Senior Awards
This is our Senior Night, and we appreciate your patience as we honor our seniors at 5pm in a short presentation for each one.
Fastest Kid in Tucson
We will have a community race for the kids ages K-8 called the Fastest Kid in Tucson right before the 100m dash. We are committed to connecting with our track community and encourage you to let your track fans know about this opportunity for our greatest fans, the youth track athletes. We will have signup for the 100m dash near the start line and will have a t-shirt and medal for the winners of the races for each age division. This will be a fun part of the meet.

Entries must be submitted on Athletic.net for the Tucson Elite Throws Classic.
The Tucson Elite Classic is a meet where in select events you will have the opportunity to compete on Thursday and Saturday and each day will be a different competition. If you plan on competing on both days, then please contact Lucais Mackay so we can add you to Saturday as well or if you have any questions or concerns at
lmackay@arizona.edu. If you are a Tier athlete with USATF, they will have some staff on site to do sports science analysis work and will video on Thursday, with analysis work on Friday. The USATF staff will handle this and you will need to contact them for the information.

The USATF Tucson Throws Festival is a SEPARATE event (May 24, 2025 at University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ). Interested athletes should enter at the registration link on the USATF website at the Tucson Throws Festival event page:

In 1981, the Wildcats track and field program moved from Arizona Stadium to Roy P. Drachman Stadium on the corner of 15th Street and Plumer Avenue.
The facility first took the name of Rincon Vista Stadium. However, thanks to generous donations that allowed the facility to be upgraded, the Arizona Athletics Department renamed the Wildcats' home the Roy P. Drachman Track and Field Stadium.
Considered one of the fastest and most functionally designed complexes in the country, the stadium has played host to several outstanding track and field meets. The list includes the 2019 PAC-12 Championship, the 2003, 1995 and 1985 Pac-10 Championships, the 1987 TAC Junior and Intermediate Championships, the 1983 WCAA Championships and the annual Arizona Jim Click Invitational and Willie Williams Classic, as well as several other events throughout the year.
