TUCSON, Ariz. - The following statement has been released by Stanford Athletics regarding the DeMarini Invitational.

"Stanford is continuing to work with the County of Santa Clara planning department to address finishing work at its new softball stadium as expeditiously as possible.

As a result, Thursday's games of the DeMarini Invitational softball tournament have been shifted from Stanford University to West Valley College.

Details for tournament games scheduled from Friday-Sunday will be announced tomorrow.

Stanford sincerely regrets the disruption and inconvenience to the student-athletes, coaches, and fans of all of the participating teams. We greatly appreciate the flexibility from West Valley College in being able to accommodate these teams for competition."

Thursday, Feb. 19 - Games will be played at West Valley College
