TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Softball has signed senior utility Grace Jenkins, a transfer from UConn, the program announced on Friday.Â

Jenkins comes to Arizona after three seasons at UConn, capped off by earning BIG EAST Player of the Year honors in 2025. The utility player holds a .384 career batting average, 155 hits, 45 doubles, 27 home runs, and a .696 slugging percentage. Jenkins drove in 129 RBI and maintained a .484 on-base percentage during time at UConn. Defensively, Jenkins holds a .993 career fielding percentage in 721 chances as a catcher.

During her BIG EAST Player of the Year campaign last season, the Folsom, California native had a .424 batting average to notch the second highest single season batting average in UConn history. She broke single season records at UConn with 19 doubles, 21 home runs, 68 RBI, 65 runs scored, 39 walks, and 154 total bases in 2025. Jenkins led the Huskies with 19 multi-RBI games and 18 multiple hit games and held a 32-game on-base streak to finish the season. Additionally, she broke the UConn program records for career doubles (51) and career RBI (138).

In 2024, Jenkins led the Huskies with 40 RBI, 16 doubles, and 23 walks while maintaining a .344 batting average. As a freshman, she was named the 2023 BIG EAST Freshman of the Year after tallying 16 multiple hit games and 12 multi-RBI games while leading the Huskies with 44 RBI and 17 doubles.

Jenkins earned three All-BIG EAST honors and was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll seven times during her career at UConn.

Jenkins will join Jalen Adams, Jenae Berry, Addison Duke, Tele Jennings, and Sereniti Trice as a member of Arizona's transfer class. In addition to the group of transfers, incoming freshmen Molli Daley, Rylie Holder, Kezi Lucas, and Sina Talataina will make their way to Arizona in the fall.
