DALLAS – On Thursday, the Big 12 Conference released its 18-game scheduling matrix for the 2025-26 women's basketball season. Each team will face three conference opponents in home-and-home matchups, while playing the remaining 12 programs just once — either at home or on the road.
Opponents were determined with an emphasis on competitive equity and travel logistics. The full schedule, including dates and tip times, will be announced at a later date.
The home and away breakdown for head coach Becky Burke and the Wildcats is as follows:
Home Only:Â BYU, UCF, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State
Away Only:Â Baylor, Cincinnati, Iowa State, TCU, Texas Tech, West Virginia
Both:Â Arizona State, Colorado, Utah
The 2025-26 season marks the start of a new era for Arizona Women's Basketball under first-year head coach Becky Burke. With a completely retooled roster featuring 12 newcomers and one returner — redshirt junior Montaya Dew— the Wildcats are embracing a fresh identity built on energy, toughness, and culture.
Among the new faces are two players with previous Big 12 experience: Achol Magot (Texas Tech) and Freddie Wallace(Kansas), who will both look to make an impact in their return to conference play.
