TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Women's Basketball head coach Becky Burke announced the addition of Allese Williams as the program's Director of Staff Operations on Tuesday.
"Allese is genuinely an incredible person who takes a tremendous amount of pride in her work and job," said Burke. " I am so glad to be able to keep Allese along side of me as we transition from Buffalo to Tucson. I look forward to continuing to work together on winning championships and building champions here at Arizona."
Williams joins the Wildcats after serving two seasons as the Director of Basketball Operations for the University at Buffalo women's basketball program. In her role, she handled day-to-day program logistics, travel coordination, and assisted in the planning and execution of team events and recruiting operations.
Before her time at Buffalo, Williams worked at the University of Alabama, serving as a McLendon Future Leaders Intern within the Crimson Tide Athletic Communications department. She acted as the sports information director for Alabama's rowing team and managed social media strategy across multiple Crimson Tide athletic programs.
Williams also spent time with Alabama's men's basketball program as an Operations Intern, where she supported the Director of Scouting and Analytics with summer camps, official visits, and daily operations while contributing to social media initiatives within the department.
A native of Canyon Country, California, Williams played collegiately at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where she spent her first two seasons playing under Coach Burke. She earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Global Business in 2020, and later earned a master's degree in Sports Administration from Alabama in 2022.
