Box Score TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (33-16, 15-10) got two home runs from
Mason White but ultimately fell in their series opener to the Utah Utes (19-25, 6-19) on a final score of 8-6 on Friday night.
White blasted a pair of three-run home runs, one in the third inning and another in the ninth, and collected six RBI. It was his third career multi-HR game, and his second of the season. He now has 40 career home runs, the third most in program history.
The Wildcats got three tremendous bullpen efforts from
Casey Hintz,
Eric Orloff, and
Hunter Alberini, who combined to hold Utah scoreless on just four hits while striking out five.
