OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – No. 13 Arizona (44-10) beat UCF, 4-3, in the quarterfinal of the Big 12 Championship on Thursday evening to advance to the semifinal.

The Cats plated four runs on five hits to take down the Knights.
Devyn Netz and
Regan Shockey both went 2-for-3 at the plate while Shockey scored two runs to lead the team.

UCF scored first with two runs in the second inning. The first run came across on an RBI single and the second scored on a fielder's choice. In the third, the Knights hit a solo home run to lead off the inning and take a 3-0 lead.

The Wildcats plated their first run of the game in the bottom of the fourth when
Sydney Stewart drove in Shockey with a ball hit to shortstop.

Arizona took the lead in the fifth inning after scoring three runs.
Dakota Kennedy hit a sacrifice fly to score
Zaedi Tagalog to make it a 3-2 game. Netz gave the Cats the 4-3 lead with a two-run single through the right side to score
Kiki Escobar and Shockey.

Netz earned the win in the circle to improve to 21-5 after pitching 5.2 innings. She allowed three hits and just one run to score.
Miranda Stoddard threw the first 1.1 innings, allowing two runs on three hits.
