Salma Ziouti and
Reece Carter clinched the point for the 'Cats at two doubles. The Wildcat freshman and graduate student duo bested Mila Stanojevic and Elys Ventura 6-3.Â
In singles competition, three Wildcats took their victories in straight sets. Freshman
Tanvi Narendran dominated her opponent 6-0 in both sets to give Arizona the first singles point of the day. Also controlling her court was freshman Carter, who put up 6-2 and 6-1 in her sets. Clinching the match for the 'Cats was Ziouti in fierce sets of 6-1 and 7-5.Â
Arizona Women's Tennis is now 16-11 overall, 11-3 at home and 3-6 in Pac-12 play. They are back at home next Saturday, April 22 to host Arizona State in their final match of the regular season.Â
