TUCSON, Ariz. - Led by 23 points from
Caleb Love, the 12th ranked Arizona men's basketball team surged to a 110-70 win over Lewis-Clark State on Friday night in the McKale Center. Love also added seven assists, zero turnovers, four rebounds and two steals while shooting 9 of 12 from the floor.Â

Joining Love in double figures was
Keshad Johnson with 19 points, five assists and four steals,
Kylan Boswell with 15 points and five rebounds and
KJ Lewis with 13 points, four rebounds and three steals.
Dylan Anderson added 12 points and
Filip Borovicanin tallied 10 points and eight rebounds in 18 minutes of action. Â

As a team, Arizona shot 42 of 69 (.609) from the floor and made 17 of 22 at the free throw line. The Wildcats finished with 21 assists to just 12 turnovers and came away with 17 steals. Â

Arizona had the decisive edge in the lane and it showed by a 62-20 advantage in paint points and UA also had a 42-8 lead in fast break points. Â

The Warriors played Arizona even through the first 14 minutes, as the score was tied, 31-31. But Arizona turned up the defensive pressure and closed the half on a 17-2 run that was capped off by a 35-foot buzzer beater by Love.

The Wildcats would go on to outscore the Warriors in the second half, 53-32, and led by as many as 46 points with just under three minutes left in the game. Â

Pelle Larsson and
Motiejus Krivas were not available to play in the game due to injury. None are expected to miss significant time due to the injuries. Â
