PULLMAN, Wash. – The Wildcats fell to No. 21 Washington State in three sets on Friday in Pullman, Wash.. Puk Stubbe put up a game high 9 kills followed by Sofia Maldonado Diaz with 8, but it wasn't enough against the Cougar offense that hit .310.

Set 1 | Arizona - 16, WSU - 25
The Cougars took the first set 25-16. Merle Weidt, Maldonado Diaz and Stubbe combined for three team blocks, but ultimately couldn't hold off WSU who put up 12 kills.

Set 2 | Arizona - 12, WSU - 25
The Wildcats and Cougars opened up set 3 scoring back and forth points with Stubbe leading the way with three kills, but WSU was able to find momentum for a run to close out the set 25-12.

Set 3 | Arizona - 22, WSU - 25
WSU built up an early lead against the Cats in set three, but Arizona was able to put themselves back in it with the help of four consecutive kills by Maldonado Diaz and Stubbe. The Cats took their only lead of the game at 15-14, which they held for a few points after a block by Stubbe and Weidt. The teams battled it out in the end, but the Cougars were able to pull out the win 25-22.
