Tucson, Ariz. - Arizona took a late 1-0 victory over TCU to advance them onto the next round of the NCAA Tournament. After an incredibly even back and forth match, with the Cats outshooting the Horned Frogs by only 18-17, the Wildcats were able to make a break in the 63' of game play. This victory puts the Cats in the second round for the sixth time in program history, and third time in a row. This is now the third time in program history that Arizona has triumphed over TCU, and the second time this season.

Iyana Zimmerman, who was in for the first time since UCLA due to an injury, pushed hard to get the ball past a TCU defender. Forward
Brynn Moga found the ball at the perfect time, and snuck it right past the keeper, scoring the first, and only, goal of the match. Moga's first goal of the season could not have come at a better time, as her lone goal was the deciding factor that took Arizona to the next round.
Women of the Match - Brynn Moga and Hope Hisey
Brynn Moga single-handedly won the match for the Wildcats with her lone-goal. It is her first of the season and first post season goal of her career.
Freshman Keeper
Hope Hisey started in her first career postseason match against TCU. Along with that, she completed her seventh shutout of her career against TCU, who were taking some hefty shots at her. She made some crucial saves early on in the match that prevented Arizona from having to break any ties during the game. She recorded seven saves, only two away from her career record, and led Arizona to their 10th shutout of the 2019 season.
