On Saturday, three Oregon runs on three hits in the first put Arizona in an early 3-0 hole.
Oregon (31-6, 6-2 Pac-12) plated two runs with one out in the fifth and the Cats (27-8, 6-5 Pac-12) went to the bullpen, brining in Gina Synder to make her Arizona debut in the pouring rain. The game was suspended after she got the final two Ducks out in the inning. A 1:45 minute rain delay followed before the game was suspended until Sunday.
On Sunday, the Ducks plated three unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth to win it.
Ashleigh Hughes went 2-for-3 with a double, she had two of UA's three hits against Miranda Elish (13-1), who struck out 13 and allowed just three hits.
Alyssa Denham (5-2) took the loss for the Wildcats. She gave up five runs, two earned, on eight hits.
Gina Snyder made her Wildcat debut in the game. She gave up three unearned runs in 1.1 innings.
