TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona women's soccer team defeated TCU on Friday evening at Mulcahy Stadium by a score of 2-1. The Horned Frogs went up in the first half but goals from Samantha Falasco and Cali Crisler gave the Arizona the lead. Jada Talley and Sabrina Enciso earned the assists, respectively.
Arizona (11-4-4) progresses through the first round of the NCAA Tournament after Friday's victory. They will most likely travel to Palo Alto for their next matchup against Florida State.

18' – Lainey Burdett got her first touch of the match punching a shot over the crossbar.
28' – TCU got a through-ball down low and the cross finds its way into the box but Burdett scooped it up.
32' – TCU got a chance on frame off a free kick and scored.
34' – Burdett came up with a big save from point-blank range to keep the Wildcats within striking distance.
44' – Arizona earned a corner kick but the effort was bumped out of play.
47' – Crisler opened the second half with a shot on goal that was saved.
53' – McGarry took a free kick from deep but couldn't find anyone in the box.
57' – Another corner kick for the Cats but its cleared away.
59' – Kelcey Cavarra took a look from the outside of the box but it was gathered by the goalkeeper.
63' – Amanda Porter turned inside the box and rang a shot off the crossbar.
67' – Talley knocked one on frame that was deflected by Hannah Clifford but the TCU goalkeeper made the save.
69' – Stoian got her head on a cross but it was saved by the goalkeeper.
