2019: Started in every match in her fourth and final season at Arizona … Took 15 shots with seven of them being on goal … Earned one assist and one point.
2018: Earned 2018 Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention... McGarry started in nearly every match for the Cats, logging 1,788 minutes total … She took 16 shots, had two assists, and put in three goals, including the game winner to earn the victory over Arizona State.
2017: Transitioned to a defensive role over the offseason and was named All-Pac-12 in her first season on the backline... Competed for 1,892 minutes at defense this season… She started and played in every match… Four of the five shots she took were on frame.
2016: McGarry competed in four games for the Wildcats in 2016… She took one shot during the course of the season.
2015: McGarry redshirted the 2015 season.
Prep: A one-year letterwinner at San Ramon Valley High School in Danville, Calif… Was named second-team All-Conference as a junior in 2013, and was also named the Eastbay Player of the Week as a junior… Scored eight goals and had 16 assists in her junior year while leading the team to an 18-2-6 record… Her team was ranked ninth nationally in the 2013-14 high school soccer winter rankings… The Wolves were North Coast Section Finalists in 2013 and were semifinalists in the National Championships with her club team Mustang SC 2012 ECNL National Championships… Was a team captain for her club team from her U13 team all the way up to her U17 team… She also excelled on the basketball court as she earned all-league honors in her freshman and sophomore years… Was not able to play her senior year due to an ACL injury, but was still a team captain… She was named the San Ramon Valley Women’s Basketball MVP in her sophomore year… Was a North Coast Section-CIF Scholar Athlete and a SRCHS Scholar Athlete in her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons
Personal: Daughter of Shawn and Tracy McGarry… Has an older sister, Taylor… Her father played college football for the University of Illinois, her uncle played football for Northern Arizona and had a relative play football for Santa Clara as well… Morgan is majoring in Accounting with a certificate in Sports Management at the University of Arizona.
