TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona women's soccer team was defeated by Utah on Sunday afternoon in Tucson, Ariz. by a score of 2-1. Paige Crouch got the lone goal for the Wildcats and was assisted by Gabi Stoian. The result moves the Wildcats' record to 5-5-1 on the year, 0-3-0 in the Pac-12.

11' – Stoian plays a through-ball to Crouch, who slots the ball past GK July Mathias for her fourth goal of the season to give the Cats a 1-0 lead.
30' – Utah's Hailey Skolmoski took a penalty kick, but Lainey Burdett made the save. Skolmoski got another chance at it and was able to put it away. Game was tied 1-1.
71' – Skolmoski got another tally off a cross from Holly Daugirda. Utah led 2-1.

4' –Stoian and Cali Crisler connected early in the attacking half of the field to generate a shot for Crisle, but the effort was blocked.
6' – Utah's Addie Jensen took a dribbling shot from the top of the box that was no problem for Burdett.

18' – Crouch got another breakaway but Mathias was able to get her hands on it this time.
20' – Crouch earned another chance on frame and this time she beat GK Mathias, but a defender managed to clear the ball before it crossed the line
22' – Lexe Selman-Richards got a screamer off from the top of the 18-yd. box, but Mathias was able to make the save and she pushed the ball wide.
30' – Utah's Skolmoski took a PK and Lainey Burdett made the save, but Skolmoski got another chance at it and was able to put it away. Game was tied 1-1.
40' – Utah's Katie Rogers put a header chance on frame that was headed for the top-right corner, but Burdett made the save to prevent the tally.
44' – Brandi Park was on the back of a shot that went to the center of the net and was saved by Mathias.
52' – Jaden DeGracie-Bailey took a flip-throw from deep in the attacking half and the ball went to Selman-Richards, but Utah gets a block.
58' – On a set-piece opportunity for Utah, Rogers got her head on the ball but Burdett was able to make the save.
59' – DeGracie-Bailey flip-threw to Selman-Richards, who took a crack but Mathias got on the other end of it.
71' – Skolmoski got another tally off a cross from Holly Daugirda. Utah led 2-1.
81' – Arizona got two shots off, one from Selman-Richards and one from Stoian that were saved and blocked, respectively.
Arizona is back in action on Thursday, Oct. 6 in Pullman, Wash. to take on Washington State at 7 p.m. MST.
