Dr. Anna L. Waterbrook, MD is dual board-certified in both emergency and sports medicine. She currently serves as Professor of Sports and Emergency Medicine and serves as a Team Physician for the University of Arizona Intercollegiate Athletics. Dr. Waterbrook has extensive experience caring for athletes at all ages and skill levels, including pediatrics, high school, collegiate and professional sports. She has significant teaching and research experience and has authored numerous manuscripts in
scholarly journals, written many book chapters, served as Editor for several books, and lectured extensively both locally and nationally. Her research interests include musculoskeletal education and ultrasound.
Dr. Waterbrook has most recently has served as the Associate Program Director the South Campus Emergency Residency Program as well as Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona. She also recently served on the Board of Directors for the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Waterbrook graduated from the University of Arizona Medical School in 2004, completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Maine Medical Center in 2007, and completed her Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona in 2008.
