Ben Hollander joined the University of Arizona strength and conditioning staff in November of 2022.

He works with the track and field sprinters, women’s tennis, and the men’s and women’s swim teams. He also assists with baseball.

Prior to arriving at Arizona, Hollander spent 5 years at The Spot Athletics performance facility in Columbus, Ohio where he served as a strength and conditioning coach. While at The Spot Athletics, he trained high school and elite club level teams and individual athletes of all levels. Many of his high school level athletes went on to compete at the division 1 collegiate level in sports that included: football, wrestling, ice hockey, baseball, softball, lacrosse, track and field, soccer, volleyball, field hockey, and others.

Hollander received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon in 2012.

He is certified through the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association as a Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC). Additionally, he is certified in USAW, RPR, and WeckMethod.

Hollander lives with his wife, Kim, and step-daughter, Avery, in Oro Valley, AZ.
