Banner Associate Athletic Trainer

Angela Napolitano joined the University of Arizona Sports Medicine team in April of 2024 to provide medical coverage for the Woman’s Tennis program. Prior to coming to Arizona, Angela has 2 years of experience as a Fellow Athletic trainer at the University of Miami where she worked primarily with the Men’s Tennis team. Angela has experience as an intern at Arizona State University as well as at the division II and III level.

Angela got her Masters Degree in Athletic Training from Lock Haven University in 2022 where she also received her bachelor of science degree and minored in Sport and Exercise Psychology

Angela is licensed in the state of Arizona and Florida. She currently holds certifications for blood flow restriction training and will be working towards her dry needling certification in coming months

She is passionate about mental health and injury prevention through corrective exercise. Angela is originally from Long Island New York and loves camping at the beach
