Biography
2023-24: Personal best at the 2023 Minnesota Invite in the 100 free (52.06).
2022-23: Season best at Pac-12's in the 500 free (4:58.96)… Two season bests at the Minnesota Invitational in the 200 free (1:51.59) and 1000 free (10:17.03).
2021-22: Four personal bests at the Pac-12 Championships in the 200 free (1:51.10), 500 free (4:48.83), 1000 free (10:07.54) and 1650 free (16:47.40)… Held the fastest 500 free time on the team.
Before Arizona: Attended Mater Dei High School in Tustin, California... Lettered four years in swimming under coach Steve Pickell... Graduated on Principal’s Honor Roll... Also swam club for 11 years under coaches Steve Pickell, Frisk Driscoll and Kyle Brawley.
Personal: Elizabeth Mackowiak, daughter of James and Randi Mackowiak... One younger sister, Katherine... Chose Arizona “for the community and support that we receive from our teammates and for the amazing coaching staff and swim program.”
