Adam Garmon 2014 Head Shot

Adam Garmon

Adam Garmon has been part of the Arizona athletic training staff for twelve years, and is an assistant athletic trainer for the women’s tennis and women’s soccer teams.

Garmon was born and raised in Ottumwa, Iowa. He attended Iowa State University where he majored in exercise and sports science with a double minor in entrepreneurial studies and health education. He then attended the University of Arizona where he received his Master’s degree in Educational Psychology.  Before returning to Arizona as an athletic trainer, Garmon held an internship with the Cleveland Browns in 2002.

Garmon’s desire to be an athletic trainer is credited to wanting to work in a dynamic environment with active people and contributing to athletes’ success through prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. He believes the ultimate reward is watching an athlete recover from an injury and being able to reach their highest achievements.
