Christine Clark, a native of Tucson, joins the University of Arizona Women’s Basketball Staff for her first year as a Graduate Student Manager. Clark, over the past two years has been playing Professional Basketball in Italy’s Top League. Known for her ability to score, Clark was a Top-10 scorer in the league in both seasons. In her final season, Clark finished second in the league for 3-point percentage shooting 42% from downtown.
Before her professional career, Clark attended Harvard University where she set an Ivy League record of 115 consecutive games started. Clark also was a three-time First Team All-Ivy League Selection and finished her collegiate career as fourth on the all-time scoring list with 1,711 points. In addition, Clark was a member of the 2014 WBCA ‘So You Want To Be A Coach’ program, which aims to educate and aid young women interested in pursuing coaching.
Clark, a Tucson High School Athletic Hall of Famer, won three State Championships in Hurdles and was a three-time All-State Selection in Basketball. She also has established her own Skills Academy in Tucson to help provide more opportunities to young girls interested in basketball.
