Manning was elevated to assistant coach prior to the 2025-26 season after serving as the Director of Operations for two seasons.
Before arriving in Tucson, Manning was an assistant coach at Army West Point under head coach Jimmy Allen. He assisted in the development of Rookie of the Year, Ethan Roberts, and First-Team All-League junior, Jalen Rucker.
Prior to his season at Army West Point, Manning worked at Gonzaga as a Graduate Assistant during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, which included trips to the 2021 National Championship game and the 2022 Sweet 16. Manning worked and helped develop All-Americans in Drew Timme, Chet Holmgren, Corey Kispert, Joel Ayayi, and Jalen Suggs. Before his stint in Spokane, Manning worked as Director of Player Development at Wake Forest University from 2017-20.
A native of Lawrence, Kansas, Manning was a walk-on at the University of Kansas for four seasons (2012-16), playing a role in 116 wins, four Big 12 regular season championships, two Big 12 Conference Tournament championships and four NCAA Tournament appearances, including Elite 8 and Sweet 16 appearances.
Manning earned his undergraduate degrees in Sports Management from the University of Kansas in 2016.
