- Honorable mention All-ACC in 2022 and 2023 and was on the ACC All-Freshman team in 2021
- Scored 1,476 points (14.6 ppg) in his college career with the Tar Heels
- Also made 200 3-pointers, a total that ranks eighth in UNC history, and had a streak of 86 consecutive games with at least one 3-pointer made between the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons
- Handed out 338 assists (3.3 apg) at UNC
- Had a streak of 40 straight free throws made during the 2021-22 season, the second-longest streak in North Carolina history
- In seven career NCAA Tournament games, Love has averaged 17.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists
- Helped UNC advance to the national championship game in 2022, scoring 30 points against UCLA in the Sweet 16 and 28 points (22 in the second half) against Duke in the national semifinal game
- During the 2022-23 season, Love averaged a career-best 16.7 points to rank fifth in the ACC

- Registered 94 assists, marking the third straight year he finished with a positive assist-to-turnover ratio

- Attended Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, where he was the 2020 Gatorade High School Player of the Year in Missouri
