Karin Wurm
One of the most decorated all-around gymnasts in program history, Karin Wurm was a staple of athletic and academic excellence during a brilliant four-year career from 2005-08. Karin, who still ranks fourth in program history with 1,958.375 total points scored, twice advanced to the NCAA Championships as an individual competitor. The two-time Pac-10 Gymnast of the Week also earned first team All-Pac-10 honors as an all-around performer in 2007 and 2008. As a junior in 2007, she collected All-American honors in the floor exercise (first team) and the all-around competition (second team). In the classroom, she was a four-time Academic All-American and three times earned recognition as a first team Pac-10 All-Academic honoree. Karin was presented the 2008 Pac-10 Gymnastics Scholar-Athlete of the Year award for her remarkable athletic and academic achievements. She graduated magna cum laude from the UA Eller College of Management with a B.S. in business marketing.
