Trevor Crowe HOF
Trevor Crowe emerged from Coach Lopez’s first full recruiting class and led an explosive Wildcat offense that sent the program to three-consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. One year after making the All College World Series team, he became a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award, presented to the nation’s top amateur player. He batted a robust .403, highlighted by 49 extra base hits, which are a single-season school record. He also set single-season records for triples (15) and total bases (188), while ranking third with 34 multi-hit games and fifth with 83 runs scored. He finished his collegiate career third in triples (26), fifth in stolen base percentage (.857), sixth in extra base hits (94) and seventh in stolen bases (66). The two-time All-Pac-12 honoree was named a first-team All-American by Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball and the American Baseball Coaches Association in 2005, while wrapping up a three-year career before becoming a first-round draft pick of the Cleveland Indians.
