Prolific, eight sport undergraduate athlete. Received "A" sweater and "A" blanket for achievement and was selected for the "A" Club. Named Outstanding Sportswoman in 1951. Went on to Outstanding amateur golf career, beginning with t1959 Tri-State championship and followed by numerous club championships and course records. Was state senior Olympics champion from 1985 through 1989, and was 1989 U.S. Senior Olympics gold medalist and 1991 U.S. Senior Olympics bronze medalist. Inducted into the Pima County Sports Hall of Fame in 1991.
