Named Outstanding Sportswoman in 1952. Member of the "A" Club, Women's Athletic Association Board, Racquet Club and Varsity Tennis Team. Was president of Desert Mermaids and swimming sport leader. Won individual swimming award for two years. During 28-year high school volleyball coaching career, her teams compiled a 215-27 (88%) record. She won two State Championships, six Division Championships and 10 League Championships. Named State of Arizona Coach of the Year three times, and in 1985, named national High School Volleyball Coach of the Year.
