In 1991, as a sophomore, she earned Arizona's first NCAA gymnastics title, in the vault, and was named First-Team All-American. She earned All-Pac-10 honors in the vault for three consecutive years (1990, 1991, and 1992), and at the 1992 Pac-10 Championships, again in the vault, she recorded the first perfect 10.0 score in University of Arizona history. At the end of her induction she held the school record in the vault, and was ranked fourth in the floor exercise and tenth in the all-around.
