A three-time all-collegiate and AAU performer, she captured the 1975 Intermountain Conference three-meter spring board title and placed second in the AIAW national championships. She maintained a 3.9 grade average as a chemical engineering major, and in 1974 was named the Tucson Women's Sports Association's Female Athlete of the Year.
