1991 Arizona Softball Team NCAA Champions
Became Arizona's first NCAA women's team to win a National Championship. The team's 56 wins and .778 winning percentage were a school record. Three Players from the 1991 team were named to All America teams. Four players were named to the College World Series All Tournament team. Pitching staff threw a record seven no-hitters. Five team members were selected to the Pacific Ten All Conference team. When they scored before their opponents, the team won 52 of 53 possible games. Broke school records for total bases, stolen bases, doubles and walks. Defeated top ranked UCLA twice during the College World Series.
