A 1943 graduate of the University of Arizona, he served on the Intercollegiate Athletic Committee 1959-80. He was Arizona’s faculty representative 1969-80 and Vice President of the National Collegiate Athletic Association 1970-73. He later served as the chairman of the NCAA Classification Committee. Myers was instrumental in Arizona’s move into the Pacific-10 Conference. He also directed the University’s accounting department 1959-66.
