In 22 seasons, his baseball teams won 831 games, lost 282 and tied eight. Regarded as one of the premier coaches in college baseball history. Took Wildcat teams to College World Series nine times and coached 27 all-Americas during his career. Lettered in football, basketball and baseball at Arizona in 1929.
