Lettered at center in 1932, 1933, 1934. Member Arizona Board of Regents, 1960-68, president 1968; member of the Founders for Arizona Medical Education (FAME) which launched the Arizona Medical College; member of the directors of the Alumni Advisory Board; chairman of the Arizona Alumni Association Fund Drive in 1969; and served on the board of directors of University of Arizona Foundation. Received University of Arizona 75th Anniversary Medallion of Merit in 1960; the Alumni Association Appreciation Award in 1969, and the Distinguished Citizen Award from College of Medicine in 1978. Awarded Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree on May 19, 1973.
