FORT WORTH, Texas – Arizona posted a 195.825 to place third at the Metroplex Challenge on Sunday behind No. 1 Oklahoma (198.175) and No. 10 Arkansas (197.700). Texas Woman's came in fourth with a 195.025.
 
Balance Beam 
The GymCats scored a 48.100 on beam to open the meet. Abigayle Martin and Tirzah Wise scored 9.775 each for Arizona.  
 
Floor Exercise 
In the second rotation, Arizona scored a 49.275 on floor. Emma Strom led the way with a career-high 9.95. Sophie Derr and Hillary Puleo posted a pair of 9.85s and Martin followed with a 9.825. Aubrey Krohnfeldt scored a 9.80 to round out the rotation.
 
Vault
The GymCats earned a season-best 49.175 on vault in rotation three. Martin and Wise led Arizona with two 9.85s while Derr, Jessa Janicke, and Strom added three 9.825s for the Cats.
 
Uneven Bars
Arizona scored a 49.275 on bars to close out the meet. Martin posted a season-high 9.925 and Delaney Mead earned a career-best 9.875. Sadie Smith tied her career high with a 9.85 and Krohnfeldt earned a 9.825. Puleo tied her career high of 9.80 for Arizona.
