Wildcats Take Runner-Up at The Westbrook Invitational

Arizona Women's Golf took runner-up at the Westbrook Invitational. The Wildcats ended the tournament at 35-under par and just two shots behind Missouri who won. After holding a two shot lead headed into the final round, the Cats shot 13-under par but it wasn't enough to hold off Missouri.

Julia Misemer led the scoring for the Wildcats with a 66. This tied her lowest round of her career. Nena Wonthanaivmok went 3-under par to finish tied for fourth, which is her best finish of the season. Sara Vitasek also had her best tournament of the season as she finished tied for 11th.

Kinsley Ni picked up her first top ten finish of her young career after finishing 8-under par. Charlotte Back placed in a tie for 21st after a final round of 73. Maria Cabanillas posted a 71 in the last round to bring her total to 2-under par.

Arizona led the field in par four scoring, as they were 9-under par for the tournament. The next closest team played them 1-over par. They had 64 birdies over the span of three rounds which was second best in the field. Nena Wongthanavimok and Kinsley Ni tied for the second best scoring average on the par fours at 3.77.

Next on the schedule for the Wildcats is the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate starting on Monday, March 2nd.
