Wildcats Tied For 8th Headed Into Final Round At Sahalee

The 36-hole day one of the Sahalee Players Championship is complete, the Wildcats currently are tied for eighth at 12-over par. The first 18 holes played much harder with no team under par then conditions eased up in the second round allowing five teams shooting under par.

Senior Zach Pollo finished even par after shooting 4-under in his second round. On his final nine holes of the day he had four birdies and an eagle. Freshman Dillon Dean in his first start for the Wildcats finished even par and tied for eighth with Pollo. They are only three shots back of the leader going into the final round.

Filip Jakubcik carded rounds of 75 and 71 to finish tied for 18th. Connor Hamm finished 36 holes at 10-over par. Tianyi Xiong finished 16-over par. William Wistrand, competing as an individual, is tied for 26th after rounds of 75 and 72.

The final round starts at 7:20 a.m. (MST) on Sunday with the Wildcats paired up with North Carolina and Washington. Use the live scoring link above to follow along.
