TUCSON, Ariz. - The 2025 season for the Arizona Women's Triathlon team is set to begin this upcoming weekend at the Southern Hills Collegiate Cup in Hot Springs, S.D. The Cats kick-off their third season Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 5:15 a.m. MST. Race day will be held at the Angostura Recreation Area in the Black Hills. Traveling with the Wildcats is Sara Crociani, Sofia de Rosas, Dana Prikrylová, Anika Visser, Mia Wentzy, and Kelly Lyn Wetteland.

Last Season
In only their second season, the team secured three 1st place finishes including the Battle of the Fort Triathlon and the NCAA West National Qualifier. The season ended on a high as they brought in the USA Triathlon National Championship for Arizona with a total of 942 points.

These wins included multiple top ten finishes from the girls individually including Wetteland coming in 2nd, Vrablova in 3rd, Lakustiak in 6th, and Prikylova in 9th.

This weekend will mark the first of five races that the Cats are scheduled to participate in. The next meet being a new appearance for the team at the Grand Junction Desert Heat Collegiate Cup.
