TUCSON, Ariz. – The Blue team won the annual Red-Blue volleyball scrimmage on Saturday afternoon. The Blue team won 4-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-20, 15-8).

Jordan Wilson led all attackers with 16 kills and Carlie Cisneros followed with 14 total kills. Sophomore Avery Scoggins led the Blue team to the win with 39 assists, six kills, and 12 digs. Freshmen Renee Jones and Paige Thies both recorded six kills during the match.
 
Defensively, the Blue team tallied 4.0 total blocks while the Red team recorded 59 digs. Sydnie Vanek had three blocks in the match. Four Wildcats tallied 10 or more digs led by Haven Wray with 14 digs. Wilson followed with 13 total digs, Scoggins recorded 12 digs, and Brenna Ginder had 10 digs during the match.

The 2025 squad will host Northern Colorado for an exhibition match on Saturday, August 23 at 12 p.m. MST in McKale Center. Season tickets can be purchased here or by calling (520) 621-CATS.
