TUCSON, Ariz. – Malia Rausch was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Third Team, a selection that honors the achievement of outstanding student-athletes. The CSC announced the teams Tuesday morning.

Rausch, a junior majoring in neuroscience & cognitive science, has seen immense academic and athletic success this year.

In the postseason, she was named to the 2025 All-Big 12 First Team and was a three-time individual finalist at the 2025 Big 12 Championships.

Rausch scored 77 points at Big 12 Championships, taking third in the 500 free (4:44.48), third in the 1650 free (16:36.77, Arizona season best) and seventh in the 200 free (1:47.07).

During the regular season, Rausch also earned first place in the 500 free against a top-ranked UCLA program and swam Arizona's season best time and earned fourth place in the 500 free (4:43.80) at the Wolfpack Elite Invitational.
