SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Arizona Gymnastics earned a 196.125 against Utah on Friday night. The Utes posted a 197.675 at their home arena. 

Uneven Bars
The Cats started off the meet on bars, putting up a 49.150. Abigayle Martin scored a strong 9.80. Elena Deets added a 9.825. Sophie Derr earned a season high score and tied her career high of 9.90 on bars. Alysen Fears followed with a 9.850. 

Vault
Arizona moved to vault for the second rotation, earning a 48.975. Three GymCats scored 9.775s – Emma Strom, Elizabeth LaRusso, and Fears. Emily Mueller posted a 9.80 and Martin led the rotation with a 9.85. 

Floor Exercise 
In rotation three, the Cats posted a 49.075 on floor. LaRusso kicked off the rotation with a 9.775. Fears added a 9.850 and Martin trailed with a 9.825. Mueller closed out the rotation with the highest Arizona floor score of the night, tying her season high score of 9.875. 

Balance Beam
The GymCats ended the meet on beam with a 48.925. Fears and Martin added 9.775s. Mueller led another rotation, securing a 9.825 on beam. Deets posted a 9.80.
