TUCSON, Ariz. – The Wildcats improved to 10-1 with an 8-0 run-rule over Omaha on Sunday afternoon.

Arizona scored eight runs on 10 hits in the game.
Jasmine Perezchica,
Regan Shockey, and
Allie Skaggs each had two hits in the game and
Carlie Scupin led the team with three RBI.

Aissa Silva picked up her fifth win of the season, allowing just two hits and striking out four in 3.0 innings.
Miranda Stoddard relieved Silva in the fourth inning to hold Omaha scoreless.

The Wildcats plated one in the first inning when Shockey scored on a sacrifice fly from Scupin.

Arizona scored four in the third inning to increase its lead to 5-0.
Dakota Kennedy drew a bases-loaded walk to bring in the first run and Scupin followed with a two-run single to right field. Kennedy then scored on a wild pitch to plate the fourth run of the inning.

In the fourth inning, Perezchica drove in a run with an RBI single and
Tayler Biehl scored on an RBI groundout from Kennedy to give Arizona a 7-0 lead.

With the bases loaded in the fifth inning,
Paige Dimler hit an RBI single to walk off the Mavericks.

Arizona will host the Hillenbrand Invitational Thursday, Feb. 22-Sunday, Feb. 25. The Wildcats will welcome Drake, Indiana, and Marshall for the four-day invitational.
