Gymnastics Opens 2025 Season with Annual GymCat Showcase

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Gymnastics opened their 2025 season with the annual GymCat Showcase on Saturday in McKale Center.

The GymCats showcased their routines on all four events to give fans a first look at the upcoming season.

Arizona's newcomers, Olivia Childs, Jessa Janicke, Aubrey Krohnfeldt, Amelia Rock, Jillian Silvers, and Teagan White were able to experience the energy in McKale Center and see the community of fans.

Seniors Alysen Fears, Elizabeth LaRusso and Emily Mueller, along with fifth year senior Elena Deets, were able to showcase their final routines as Wildcats.

The 2025 season will kick off at the Pacific Coast Collegiate Challenge where the GymCats will face Southern Utah, Rutgers, and Wilberforce on Jan. 4 in Oceanside, Calif. Arizona's home opener is set for Jan. 17 in McKale Center with a meet against the Air Force.
